Also included is what has been reported concerning them and other occasions, such as the ninth day of the month of Rabi' al-Awwal of every year, and the night of the middle of Sha'ban, along with the subsequent Eids, days, and nights which Allah the Almighty mentioned in His Book, and which the Masters—Peace be upon them—commanded their servants to gather and visit one another during. They informed them of that whose knowledge was hidden from others, and the supplications reported from them to be recited on these days and the noble nights and the majestic, exalted Eids. We shall follow that with what is necessitated by the Meaning (Al-Ma'na) we have adopted, which bears witness to the authenticity of the illustrious sciences and the rare, sublime reports we have gathered, supported by clear and luminous evidences. This is by the success granted by Allah, His aid, His will, and His volition. May Allah make us and you among those who were faithful to Allah’s covenant, so that Allah fulfills His promise to them; those are the people of His Gnosis, of whom Allah—exalted is He as a Speaker—said: "And they will say, 'Praise be to Allah, who has fulfilled for us His promise and made us inherit the earth [so] we may settle within Paradise wherever we will. And excellent is the reward of [righteous] workers'" ¹ .
