They lose Thee in misguidance and remain ignorant of Thee in doubt, while Thou showest them Thy signs within themselves until they affirm Thee as the Truth. Then, Thou didst not descend upon their doubting intellects, nor their narrow souls, nor their lowly persons, except with what they could bear of the greatness of Thy Divinity (Lahut). Thou hast established for every station a luminous, quintessential, spiritual, ethereal, and watery likeness from It, corresponding to its existence. Thou didst address each in their own tongue, guided them to Thee by Thee, and established Thyself, Thy Throne, Thy Veil, Thy Name, and Thy Tongue.

O Goal of all goals, and End of all ends! Thou hast ordained for him (the Veil) a veneration from Thee among Thy creation, and that he is to Thee as the part is to the whole. Thou commanded him to proclaim Thy Essence (Ma'nawiyya) to those whom Thou hast scattered and created. So he called out, announcing and conveying in the Realm of Light. Then the followers of falsehood doubted in every cycle; they descended into the quintessential realm as avoiders, into the ethereal realm as those deserving (of rank), and into the watery realm as the obedient and the disobedient.

Then Thou commanded him to call out on this noble and great day which Thou hast chosen, and Thou didst appear in whatever form Thou willed to Thy creation.
