The Supplication of Eid al-Ghadir
By our Master Abi Shu'ayb Muhammad ibn Nusayr
In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
O Allah, O my Master, Thou art the Truth, the Sublime, the Great. Verily, for every day there is a "hereafter," but this day has no "before," no "after," no equal, and no other. In it, Thou didst manifest Thyself to Thy creation, revealed Thy Majesty, and summoned those within the grasp of sovereignty to Thy Gnosis (Ma'rifa). O Prince of the Bees (Amir al-Nahl), which Thou hast made binding upon those who know Thee and those who deny Thee, in diverse stations and various colored forms: Arabic, non-Arabic, Persian, Nabataean, Roman, Indian, Nubian, Sindhi, Georgian, and Abyssinian. Thus, Thou didst convey to each of them what Thou willed to convey of Thy Intention, through the reality of Thy bringing into existence—neither non-existent nor negated—to establish the proof (Hujja) upon each, to prevail over them with justice in Thy Decree, to perfect the Word of Sincerity (Ikhlas) for the Gnostics, and to realize the Word of Punishment upon the deniers who bar the way from Thee, through era after era and cycle after cycle (Kawr).
