[42] And on the authority of the Master al-Sadiq—may His Might be exalted—that he said: "When the disbeliever reaches the limit [of transgression] and becomes an enemy to Allah and His Awliya (chosen friends/authorities), he is then assembled into the metamorphosed states. The first [state] into which he is assembled is within the slaughtered animals (al-Madhbuhat) whose meat is lawful to eat. He is transferred within them for a thousand years; every time he exits a composition through slaughter, killing, or death, he returns to another composition until the thousand years are completed for him. Then he is assembled into the slaughtered animals whose meat is not lawful to eat. And just as the disbeliever has seven compositions within the metamorphosed states, likewise the believer has seven compositions within the human state (al-Nasutiyyah). The believer does not enter into the metamorphosed states (Masukhiyyat). Instead, he [the believer] passes through anxieties, griefs, fatigue, and hardship; and that is only so that no one may have any claim or consequence against him, until the believer is known by his faith and his perfection."

And the words of the Almighty: {And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by what they used to ridicule} ¹ . He says: The nations of old rebelled against the Messengers, so they were metamorphosed because of their rebellion, their mocking, and their reviling of their Messengers. Likewise is this nation; if they do not believe in Allah and submit to the Messengers, they shall otherwise be metamorphosed.
