So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense? Is not Allah the most just of judges?} 1 . For they [the believers] are not metamorphosed, nor is there done to them. Rather, only those from the lineage and progeny of Iblis are metamorphosed, for He created them from darkness and sin.
And the words of the Almighty: {And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?" If those who disbelieved but knew the time when they will not avert the Fire from their faces nor from their backs and they will not be aided} 2 . He says: When they are threatened with the punishment of Allah and told what it is, they say: "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"—hastening it out of their prior denial. Had they known what would touch them of the torment when they are cast into the structures of metamorphosis (Hayakil al-Masukhiyyah), burdened by the loads upon their backs while the Fire strikes their faces, they would not have said that.
