He says: When the Day of the Riser's (al-Qa’im) rising occurs, the faces of the believers will become beautiful because of their dwelling in luminous bodies and the faces of the disbelievers will turn black due to their descent into metamorphosed bodies (al-Abdan al-Masukhiyya). Then the believers will say to them: 'Taste the punishment for what you used to reject.'"
[26] And on the authority of Humran ibn A'yan, who said: I heard my Master al-Sadiq—exalted is His might—reciting this verse: {This Day every soul will be recompensed} 1 . He said: "If it [the soul] upheld Monotheism and obeyed, it is recompensed with the great honor of God, and remains with the Spiritual Beings (al-Ruhaniyyin) in the proximity of His party, His allies, and the people of His obedience. But if it disobeyed and disbelieved, its recompense is the torment from God—Mighty and Majestic."
And the "punishment" is the entry into metamorphosis (al-Masukhiyya), according to the words of the Almighty: {Similar situations (Sunan) have passed before you, so proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers} 2 .
