While they are yet in human molds, they become accustomed to metamorphosis so that when they are inverted into it, they do not feel estranged. Whoever's heart is sealed is deprived of its expansion toward faith.

[19] This is supported by what Abu 'Ali ibn Hammam narrated from 'Abd Allah ibn al-Qasim, from Abu 'Abd al-Mu'min, from Abu Sukan, from Abu Nasr, from Abu Ja'far—exalted is His might—who said to me: "O Muhammad, everyone who opposes your word is a dog, a pig, or a donkey, and he shall be gathered on the Day of Resurrection to Hell with Pharaoh. O Muhammad, if the veil were lifted, the Shia would see their enemies only in the forms of the cursed metamorphosis. So where can they go?"

And the words of the Almighty: {The example of those who disbelieve is like that of one who shouts at what hears nothing but calls and cries; deaf, dumb, and blind, so they do not understand} 1 . He says: They are transferred into human bodies that resemble metamorphosed bodies in their endurance of toil, exhaustion, and hardship. Thus, they do not hear the one who calls them to God, nor his voice, nor his speech; they neither obey nor understand when they are addressed. They are deaf to the call, dumb to the Truth, and blind to Gnosis (al-Ma'rifa); therefore, they shall not return after that to the human temple.
