He looks upon his deeds and remembers his response to the Call of the Shadows (Nida' al-Azilla), as well as his deeds in every temple (Haykal) he entered and from which he was transferred to another, so that he forgets nothing of it.
Then, he is nourished by the finest food his bearer eats and is given to drink from what his bearer drinks. He feels at ease and sees no loneliness in his state of being veiled. He perceives his increase in the knowledge of his Creator and his recurrence on the Day of Shadows until that time, rejoicing and trusting in his Master to purify him and make him among the sincere people of His knowledge. He remains in a state of envy-free bliss, security, and joy until the completion of seven or nine months from the falling of the sperm-drop to that day. If God permits him to emerge, he comes forth in the ease and safety of God, in gentleness and peace, being upheld until he emerges. When he witnesses the world, he weeps out of longing for the intimacy he once possessed.
Once his delivery is heralded and he is placed as a newborn is placed, he remembers all that he had recalled in his mother's womb regarding his faith and his response on the Day of Shadows up to that day. He sees it, knows it, and remembers it, and he does not forget it until the completion of twenty-four months—the number of the months of breastfeeding.
