He attains all that he desires and he desires it without being repelled from it. That is [the meaning of] His—the Almighty’s—words: {And a Paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the righteous} 1 .

Thus, Paradise is Knowledge (al-Ma'rifa), and whoever reaches it is secure. When he attains this state, he is among those of whom God said: {And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative—He who has settled us in the Home of Settlement out of His bounty. There touches us not therein any fatigue, nor touches us therein any weariness"} 2 . And He also said: {We may settle in Paradise wherever we will. So excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers} 3 . Thus, the Mighty and Majestic clarified that the will belongs to them; they are not forced into what they do not want, nor are they barred from anything they love.

Among people are those who respond within a mold (Qalab) and reside in two, three, or more, without limit, up to the end of the eighty molds. If he responds in any of these molds, he is repeated in human form until his purity increases in proportion to his strength in the knowledge of his Creator.
