And the words of the Almighty: {And they say, "When we are lost within the earth, will we indeed be in a new creation?" Rather, they are, in the meeting with their Lord, disbelievers} 1 .

They do not accept that, and thus they disbelieve by this saying of theirs; so they deserved to exist in metamorphosis, witnessing it with their own eyes.
[60] On the authority of Dawud ibn 'Ali al-Hashimi, from ibn al-Husayn al-Qasim al-Kufi, from Muhammad ibn Mihran, from Muhammad ibn Sadaqah, from Muhammad ibn Sinan—peace be upon him—who said: "I was with the Scholar—may His Might be exalted—conversing one day regarding the mention of the 'Ayn and the Mim (al-'Ayn wal-Mim), when suddenly a caller (Hatif) upon a wall, and behold, it was a gecko (Wazagh). The Scholar—may His Might be exalted—said: "May you perish as a shouter! How severe is your enmity!" I asked: "What is it saying, my Master?" He replied: "It says: 'If you do not cease mentioning Muhammad and Ali, I shall surely revile you regarding Muhammad and Ali, and I shall surely curse them both.'"
