And among them are those who are returned to human form but do not declare the Oneness; thus, they are transferred and then returned again to human form, where the Oneness is presented to them and they are called, and then they respond to the Oneness of God almighty. Thus, he is repeated in human form until his rank is elevated through faith. If he responds, his sins are purged until no sin remains upon him but that it is cleared from him; at that point, he joins the rank of the Followers (al-Lahiqun).
None among the people of the call is summoned to the Oneness (Tawhid) of God—the Mighty and Majestic—while in a state of poverty, unless he has already been summoned while in a state of wealth. This is because God is too Generous to call His servant to His Oneness while he is poor, without having first called him while he was rich. This is because He—Mighty and Majestic—brings them from non-existence into the existence to which He returned them. The call continues generation after generation, and He sends to them the Messengers and the Proofs (al-Hujaj), who call them and clarify for them the will of their Lord and the purpose for which He created them.
The first manifestation in which every individual of this world appears is as a king, a prince, a minister, or something of that nature. Then, He sends to him one who calls him to the Oneness.
