The words of the Almighty: {And indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all. It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated}1. He says: Indeed, the structures of metamorphosis (Hayakil al-Masukhiyyat) are the promised place for everyone who acted tyrannically and exalted himself. These consist of seven types (Ajnas), which are: Faskh, Naskh, Rusuqh, Wasukh, Mas-h, Qas, and Qushas. Each type of these categories pertains to specific peoples; they are cycled (Yukarrarun) within them as Allah their Master wills for them, until [they reach] the Abode of Affliction (Dar al-Balwa), and He makes whomever He wills among them, by His volition, into husks (Qash) and scavengers (Qushash).
[50] Ibrahim ibn al-Hasan al-Rasha’ al-Karkhi narrated to me, saying: Ata ibn Riyah al-Ansari narrated to me from his father, who said: I heard Yunus ibn Zabiyan—peace be upon him—saying: "I had a slave-girl who used to menstruate from her rear; then she died. I traveled to the Scholar (al-Alim)—may His Might be exalted—and informed him about her. He said to me: 'O Yunus ibn Zabiyan, would you like to see her and know what she has become?' I said: 'May I be your ransom, how is that possible for me?'
So he took me by my hand and set out toward some rabbit burrows (Kharanic). I saw a female rabbit grazing in that desert.
