He lowered his head for a moment and then said: 'O Furat ibn al-Ahnaf, indeed, whoever hates Ali belongs to the Durdur, the lowest depth [of Hell/Punishment].'"

I said: "My Master, and what is the Durdur?" He said: "A place where obliteration (al-Mas-h) occurs, and therein their spirits are metamorphosed from one body to another."

The words of the Almighty: {And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He touches you with good, then He is over all things competent} ¹ . He says: If He punishes you with metamorphosis (Masukhiyyah), none shall bring you out of it except His pardon; and if He grants you felicity through forgiveness and makes you among the People of Luminosity (Ahl al-Nuraniyyah), then He is over all things competent.

[46] It is narrated from Abu Abd Allah al-Sadiq—may His Might be exalted—that he said: "The body of the disbeliever lasts for a thousand years, just as the body of the believer lasts; however, the believer does not fall into the compositions of that which is eaten, slaughtered, or killed, nor the likes of that which exists in the wilderness. But after this, the believer is recognized by the perfection of his faith when he dwells in these degrees, and the disbeliever is recognized by the perfection of his disbelief."
