Just as sleep—which is a fleeting, transitory accident—afflicts you, causing you to sleep and dream, and once that accident vanishes, you strip yourself entirely of all the things you were witnessing and return to witnessing the natural things (which are by a fixed accident), and which you hold to be more real than those things of the fleeting accident;

So too, when you awaken from your "natural sleep" which is in this world, and return to the True Awakening which is the World of the Intellect, you shall return to meanings and things that you will hold to be far more real than what you witnessed during your slumber in the world of nature. Your state regarding [this world] will then be exactly like your state regarding the dreams you used to have while you were in this world.
