For this is what deters from sinking into the turmoil of this ephemeral world and clinging to the ropes of its deception; it guides to the performance of good and urges its multiplication, and that which draws the soul closer to the Creator and grants proximity to Him, and settles it in His bliss which has no decline and no end to its duration.

May God benefit its reader through it, inspire him to His obedience, and grant him success in attaining His pleasure through His favor and hidden grace. And gratitude be to God, abundantly and continually.
