In summary, O soul: there is no species in the realm of the intellect whose form is not manifest within the existence of the flow of nature. Likewise, all that exists in the world of generation are but prompts and representations.

Thus, its false and vanishing pleasures point toward the true and enduring pleasures; its dissolving, vanishing, flowing, and perishing forms point toward the remaining and constant forms. Indeed, the inconsistency and cessation of all that is within the senses point toward the harmony, permanence, and constancy of all that is within the intellect.

So, as long as you are, O soul, in the realm of nature, do not seek pleasure from it, nor become preoccupied with the sensory at the expense of learning, visualization, representation, research, and the exploration of all the goals and purposes you intended—so that you may be spared the need to return and revert to the acquisition of knowledge.

If you long, O soul, for pleasures and enduring joy, then strip off your murky garment, refine yourself from the burdens of your body, and cleanse yourself of the things that contradict your essence. Then, proceed toward the realm of true pleasures and enduring joy; don your essential robes and take on your substantial, enduring, and remaining forms, whose configurations and diverse examples you have witnessed while you were in the world of generation and corruption.
