We have presented a portion of what the people of knowledge and transmission have narrated. Since the five testimonies have established the correctness of what we mentioned, and it has been proven in our knowledge by the guidance of the Intellect—which is the root of every blessing and through which we recognized that he who knows these traits and informs of these actions is the Worshipped Lord and the Sought God, the Manifest and Existing—regarding this, our master, sheikh, role model, and the Imam of our group, the Lord Abu Abd Allah al-Husayn ibn Hamdan al-Khusaybi—may God ennoble his station—says:

Five things there are, in which God is unique, So that creation may know who is the One, the Eternal. His sending of the rain, the knowledge of the Hour, And the knowledge of what is in the womb of a child. No soul perceives what in its tomorrow It earns, or in what land it shall be lost. Until Ali said: "Truly, I Am the Knower of them," then said he who possesses guidance: "This is the one to whom all the Messengers Pointed, in the ancient times and forever."

We have not known, nor has it been transmitted to us, nor has anyone from the various sects and religions agreed that any Prophet or Messenger or bringer of law claimed these traits for himself, or any part of them, apart from his God and Sender. Rather, they all said: they have a God whom they worshipped and to whom they called the nations, and it is He who possesses the knowledge of the Hour, is the Sender of rain, the Knower of what is in the wombs, to the end of the verse.

Truly, these actions we mentioned—of causing trees to grow, creating pebbles and clay, and similar powers, as well as raising the dead and reviving decayed bones and remains—cannot be performed except by the God whom they worship and to whom they call. Since they were truthful and right in their gnosis, this speech from them was truth and veracity, supported by His saying, Mighty and Majestic: {That is because God is the Truth, and that what they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and that God is the Exalted, the Great}.
