They sat as he commanded. He said: "Bring Asma bint Umays to me." When she came, he said to her: "Take this young woman, strip her, sit her in a wide vessel, and rub her private part with hot water, then see what happens and inform me." Asma took the girl’s hand to her house and did as our Master Amir Almuminin, Mighty is His Might, commanded. After a short while, she returned with the woman, accompanied by Asma’s servant who carried the vessel containing the water on her head. She placed it before him while Abd Allah and his brothers were sitting. Behold, the basin was filled with fresh blood containing a leech as large as a cucumber.

Asma said: "O my master, I took this girl and did as you commanded, and this leech came out followed by the blood." Amir al-Nahl, Mighty is His Might, said to Abd Allah ibn Saba, peace be upon him, and his brothers: "Take your sister’s hand and go, and ask her to forgive you." And they did so.

AND NO SOUL PERCEIVES WHAT IT WILL EARN TOMORROW

And the saying of the Exalted, Mighty and Majestic: {And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow}.

Amir Almuminin, sanctified are his names, used to inform people of what would become of them in their tomorrow. He informed and prophesied—as narrated by a group from him—what is famous in his sermons regarding the Great Epics (al-Malahim), the authenticity of which has been agreed upon by a vast multitude; not a single letter of them has failed to manifest.
