And regarding Fatherhood (spiritual guidance): We and our [biological] fathers are those who Have cast us into the pit of destruction. The one who taught knowledge was the best father; That is the father of the soul, not the father of the seed.

In what we have presented and explained in this chapter from the Masters (al-Mawali), Mighty is Their Might, the simplest portion is enough to convince one with a pure heart and understanding, and the rarest of it benefits the one with insight and knowledge. Were it not for the fear of being too lengthy, we would have composed many times more than what has been organized. Praise be to God, the Giver of blessings, and His prayers be upon the Greatest Name and his most noble Gate, and upon those who return to them; and may He grant much peace to them and to all the believers.
