(128) Abu Muhammad al-Hamadhani narrated from Muhammad ibn Sinan, peace be upon him, from our Master al-Sadiq, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "The believer is rarer than red sulfur; he does not debase himself. His joy is in his religion, and his company is in his solitude. He is not bashful [in truth], he does not harbor grief [over the world], and he does not endure oppression." Then he recited: {And to God belongs all honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers}.
(129) By this chain of transmission from him, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "The believer is rarer than red sulfur; he possesses physiognomy (al-tawassum). If he were to say to this mountain, 'Move,' it would move." The narrator said: The mountain moved at the word of our Master, so he said to it: "I did not mean you; stay." And the mountain stayed.
(130) It is narrated from al-Adawi from Hammad ibn Isa, from our Master al-Sadiq, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "God refuses to set a [fixed] term for the believer; however, if he intends a sin that would destroy him, He takes him to Himself."
(131) By his chain of transmission from our Master al-Sadiq, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "God has not set a fixed term for the believer. Rather, when He wills to take him, He makes him forget his family, his wealth, and his children; He makes his stay among them hateful to him and makes his appointed time beloved to him. When he loves it, He takes him."
(132) In another narration: "He sends two angels; one is called the Eraser (al-Munsi) and the other the Consoler (al-Musalli). The first makes him forget the pleasures of the world, and the other consoles him regarding his family and children; then He takes him to Himself."
