He is the brilliant, exquisite, and lofty Crown; the radiant, encrusted, and unassailable Brocade. Below the "below," He is the magnificent, creative, and protective Splendor. He is the Meaning of Meanings, the Master of Masters, the True and Certain Truth, the clear and morning Full Moon, the deep and hidden Secret, and the Firm Path. He is the Creator of creatures, the Knower of hidden things—Alī, Amir Almuminin, the Anza‘ al-Baṭīn (the one void of polytheism and full of knowledge), the Master of the Day of Judgment, the Knower of Secrets, the Source of Lights, and the Mover of the revolving spheres.
By His power, He alternates the night and the day. Everything in the heavens and the earth, and the birds with wings outspread, glorify Him; each knows its prayer and its glorification. He—Exalted and High is He—{drives the clouds, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap, so you see the rain coming forth from their midst. And He sends down from the sky mountains (of clouds) wherein is hail, and He strikes with it whom He wills and averts it from whom He wills. The vivid flash of its lightning nearly blinds the sight.} He is powerful over all things, Seer of all things; an excellent Master and an excellent Helper. He is the cleaver of the clear, sublime, and brilliant Light, whom no encompassment can contain: {Visions perceive Him not, but He perceives [all] vision; and He is the Subtle, the Acquainted} (6:103), the High, the Great.
Blessings of the Opener of Openings, the Granter of Gifts, and the King, the Holy, the Glorified. His peace be upon the station of the radiant and clear Phantom of Light, the jewel-encrusted Veil of His Essence, the Holy Spirit (Quds al-Rūḥ) flourishing under the brilliance of the Hyle. It rises from the soul of its own light, created by its own emergence, overflowing and appearing. It is originated by its manifestation and its gushing forth with surging and swaying. His Great Name at the time of its inception and its fragrance at the extension of the morning—its branch rising from the root of its immersion in the light of the essence of the Phantoms. Its ripe fruit comes from the tree of its vanishing upon witnessing the point of overflowing.
