(101) And by the chain of transmission from him, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "It is binding upon whoever knows of our hidden, stored secret to keep it in the vessel of his heart and not reveal it, lest he be of the party of Satan—verily, the party of Satan are the losers."
(102) And by the chain of transmission from him, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "The most beloved of my companions to me are the most pious and the most learned in our traditions."
(103) And by the chain of transmission from him, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "The one who speaks against us with what we dislike is not more severe than the broadcaster [of the secret]."
(104) And he, Mighty is His Might, said: "Our followers (Shi'a) are the mute, without defect."
(105) And by the chain of transmission from him, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "Beware of disclosing the secret, for it shortens the lifespan, blinds the heart, and cuts off sustenance." Then he recited: {Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy}, and the saying of the Almighty: {So fear God as much as you are able}.
(106) Ali ibn al-Hakam narrated from Sulayman ibn Ja'far ibn Ibrahim al-Ja'fari, peace be upon him, who said: I entered upon my Master Abu al-Hasan Musa, Mighty is His Might, and asked him about certain matters, which he answered. Then I stood up to leave, and my Master said to me: "Do not spoil your fast." I said: "My Master, I am not fasting." He replied: "The believer is always fasting in the state of the adversary; so do not speak of anything you have until the time of your breaking of the fast." I asked: "My Master, and when is the time of my breaking of the fast?" He said: "When our Qa'im arises."
(107) And by the chain of transmission from him, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "The best of people is the one who fulfills the covenant and remains silent until speech is required."
