In this regard, the saying of the Mighty and Majestic: {We will strengthen your arm through your brother} is a proof and clarification that if God Almighty supports a believer through the recognition of another believer, He has strengthened him; and if a believer cuts off his brother, he has cut off his religion.
(97) And from our Master al-Sadiq, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "Everything has a zakat, and the zakat of the believer is the concealment of his religion."
(98) And from him, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "The People of the Cave concealed their faith and manifested disbelief. In manifesting disbelief, they earned a greater reward than for their concealment of faith, so God granted them their reward twice over."
(99) And from him, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "Brotherhood in religion is the intertwining of flesh and blood. When our Qa'im arises, he shall set aside the brother in lineage and grant inheritance to the brother in cause—meaning, in religion."
(100) And from Muhammad ibn Sinan, peace be upon him, from our Master al-Sadiq, Mighty is His Might, that he said: "God took a covenant from creation in general, and from you in particular, to refrain from broadcasting [the secret]. Whoever broadcasts God’s secret, God shall make him taste the heat and cold of iron. Truly, it is incumbent upon you to conceal what you know, for your standing in this world is the standing of the Prophets; they concealed the Truth though they knew it, and there was no liability upon them for that between them and God. God, Mighty and Majestic, rebuked His Prophet regarding the outward aspect of the matter, saying: {So remind, for you are only a reminder. You are not a dictator over them}. And the Mighty and Majestic said: {O you who believe, look after your own souls. He who is astray cannot harm you if you are guided}."
