In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful {God - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Chair extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the High, the Great}1.

And He said in the Mosaic Cycle, addressing His Name: {And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. ❁ Indeed, I am God. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance}2. He is the one with whom is the Science of the Book, due to the words of the Almighty in the story of His Name Solomon: {Said he who had knowledge from the Scripture, "I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you"}3. The "Scripture" is the Name, and the Meaning possesses science from the Mim. We are called Monotheists because we worshipped He whom we saw and whose speech we heard.

Our Sheikh Abu Abd Allah—may God brighten his face—said: It is permissible for the Name to be called Ali, but it is not permissible for him to be called Meaning (Ma'na) nor Amir Almuminin, because these are two names exclusive to the Prince of Bees—exalted be his glory. Whoever says that the Meaning appeared through a body and a soul has limited Him and membered Him, having made Him two things: a body and a soul.
