I said to him: As for the Book, it is the Mim, as al-Khasibi—may God sanctify his soul—said; and he is the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. The Quran was only named Quran due to its being joined (iqtiranihi) to the Meaning; there is no difference between them, no separator, no existence [separate], no origination [separate], no time, no season, no era, and no epoch. Neither mankind nor jinn encompass his recognition, as our Sheikh al-Khasibi said: "Had there been a difference, a separator, or an intermediary between them, he would have been a [separate] person and would have been other than the Mim."

The Precise Verses (al-ayat al-muhkamat) are the manifestations of the Meaning in Essence, which are the Anza'ite [Baldness/Vast Knowledge] ones from Abel to our Master the Prince of Bees. These seven High Anza'ite Essential Manifestations are those through which He appeared in pre-eternity, and through which the High World sees Him; that does not change for them. He is Batin [Vast of belly/Inward] among the nations, Anza’ [Bald/Distinct] from the father and the son. Another answer: Batin by Essence, Anza’ from attributes.

Another answer: Anza’ means He "stripped" (naza’a) this form from the two worlds and did not clothe any other with it, from the Name to those below him. Through it He appeared, and though He might show us that He appeared in a form other than the Anza'ite one, He only "turns" our vision and shows us what He wills, for we are the world of the Lower Temperament. He—the Exalted—changes but is not changed; He forms but is not formed, like the engraving of a ring's gemstone: He affects but nothing affects Him; He transfers but is not transferred. He is an Indivisible Substance (juz’ asamm) that is neither partitioned nor divided. If anyone among the Monotheists says that He is partitioned or divided, he has disbelieved in the Spiritual Dimension (al-Ma'nawiyya) and associated partners with the High, the Most High; because He is the Essence, and the Essence is not partitioned, divided, membered, nor rooted. He—the Exalted—shows us what He wills according to our merit for His recognition.
