I encountered the Sheikh Abu al-Husayn Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Isa al-Jisri al-Katani.

I encountered my grandfather Abu Ishaq Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Rifa’i in Antioch, and he said to me: "Whoever says in every day and night: 'Glory be to the Meaning of Meanings,' God writes him among the glorifiers."

I encountered Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn al-Shahid, and he said to me: "Whoever says throughout his life: 'There is no deity except God, the High, the Most High,' and increases in it, has purchased his soul from God."

I encountered Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Dari, and he said to me: "Whoever says in every day and night a hundred times: 'There is no deity except God, the High, the Great,' shall be among the believers."

I encountered Abu al-Abbas Ahmad ibn Yusuf al-Qadi, and he said to me: "Whoever says in every day and night a thousand times: 'There is no deity except God, the High, the Great,' shall be written among the successful."

I encountered Abu Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Nu’mani, the vizier of the Levant in Antioch, and he said to me: "Whoever says in every day and night a thousand times: 'It is You we worship, O Ali, and You we ask for help,' the angels name him the saint of the Lord of the worlds."

I encountered his brother Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Nu’mani while he was with him in Antioch, and he said to me: "Whoever says in every day and night a thousand times: 'O Muhammad, O Mahmud, O Ali, O Worshipped,' God shall protect him."

I encountered their brother Abu al-Fath Mughallas, and he said to me: Lord Abu Abd Allah al-Husayn said: "Whoever says in every day and night a thousand times: 'Glory be to God, the Ancient, the Pre-eternal, who did not take body in a corpse nor was limited in number,' has purchased his soul from God."
