Introduction by the Wolves of Light

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise be to Allah, the Exalted through the manifestation of His High and Witnessed Essence, who is sanctified in His Great, Luminous, and Radiant Image. He is unique in His hidden and supreme Power, the Primordial Matter (Hyle), unified in His vast and eternal Greatness, everlasting in His encompassing and singular Might. The High and Elevated Lord, who reveals Himself through the divine and eternal Wisdom; the High and Elevated Lord, sanctified by the sovereign and divine Grace. He is the High, the Great, magnified by the brilliant and solitary Majesty; the Eternal, the Ancient, the Foremost through the decisive and singular guidance.

He is robed in the shining lunar mantle, veiled by the coverings of the ultimate sheathed goal. Eternal without end through the collective and everlasting Finality, established by the profound, creative, and guiding Proof. He is hidden within the ample, protective, and laurelled cloak—the Bald Creator (al-Bārī al-Aṣla‘) in the quality of His essential and eternal form. He is the discloser of the flashing lights of the shimmering form, the radiator of the brilliance of the overflowing Light of Lights, and the founder of the fundamental centers of the obligatory duties.

He is transcendent above attributes, names, descriptions, and accidental substances; the Master of the assemblies that resound with their powerful essences. He is the originator of the lamp-like, crescent-shaped, and luminous suns, the enlightener of the blazing, sequential, and vast suns, the bringer of joy to the radiant, crowned, and brilliant meteors, and the nourisher of the glowing, majestic, and magnificent splendors. He is the colorer of forms with robes of silk and brocade—engineered, flowing, and clear. He is concealed by the veil encrusted with the lunar countenance, intoxicated by the concealment of the spiritual robe.
