(573) By the same chain raised to Jabir ibn Yazid al-Ju’fi, who said: My Master Abu Ja’far Muhammad al-Baqir—exalted be his glory—said to me one day: "O Jabir, what do the people say regarding Amir Almuminin?" I said: "They are divided and in disagreement. Among them is he who drew near to the Truth but did not affirm it; another was bewildered regarding Him after the clarification; and [there is] the doubting skeptic and the oppressed." Our Lord—exalted be his glory—said: "There is no good in any of those you described, nor is there any noble one among them. What do they say regarding Jesus son of Mary and Amir Almuminin?" I said: "A folk claim that Jesus is He [Ali], and others said he is below Him." Lord al-Baqir—exalted be his glory—said: "The Prince of Bees is the one who placed Jesus in the womb of his mother and the one who fed Mary fresh ripe dates. The Prince of Bees is, by God, He whom the near-standing angels do not disdain to worship." Then He was silent for a moment and said: "Our Master Amir Almuminin said: 'I am the one who called Moses from the tree, I was with Yusuf in the well, I placed Jesus in the womb of his mother, and I fed Mary fresh ripe dates.'" I said: "I bear witness that it is as He said and that He is the one Powerful over what He wills."

My Master and Sheikh Abu al-Fath Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Baghdadi—may God sanctify his soul—related regarding the words of the Almighty: {Faces, that Day, will be radiant, ❁ Looking toward their Lord}1. He said: "Looking" in the Book of God is of several aspects. As for His saying: {Faces, that Day, will be radiant, ❁ Looking toward their Lord}, this is the description of the believers.

(574) For it was related from the Lord Messenger—exalted be his glory—that he said: "Indeed you shall see your Lord on the Day of Resurrection just as you see the moon on the night of the full moon; you shall not be crowded [or wronged] in seeing Him." It was said: "Just as you see the sun and the moon—as the one near sees it, so the one far sees it," due to the words of the Almighty: {And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank}2.
