(567) By the chain from Lord Muhammad—exalted be his glory—that he said: "Everything in the Quran that is [from Him, and He, and by Him, and for Him] refers to the Prince of Bees."
(568) It was recited in the presence of our Lord al-Sadiq—exalted be his glory—: {Indeed, upon Us is guidance}1. He said: "It was not revealed thus." It was asked: "How was it revealed, O our Lord?" He replied: "Indeed, Ali is the Guidance, and indeed, for Ali is the Hereafter and the First."
(569) From our Lord the Scholar—exalted be his glory—that he said: "Amir Almuminin said: 'I made the fire cool and a [place of] peace for Abraham, and I was in all those locations; and with Moses and Aaron, I hear and I see.'"
(570) From al-Mufaddal ibn Umar, who said: My Master al-Sadiq—exalted be his glory—said: "Everything in the Quran containing [God/Allah], the Meaning therein is the Prince of Bees—exalted be his glory."
(571) By the chain from our Master al-Rida—exalted be his glory—that he said: "The Quran did not leave you to argue a proof; had God known that anyone among His creation would deny that he has a Maker, He would have argued against him just as He argued against those who claim two or three [gods]. However, the recognition of Him by His names is different from the recognition of Him by His reality." Then He said: {And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "God." So how are they deluded?}2.
(572) By his chain to Yunus ibn Zabyan from al-Mufaddal ibn Umar regarding the words of God—Majestic is His name: {Never will the Messiah disdain to be a servant of God, nor will the near-standing angels. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant—He will gather them to Himself all together}3. He said: "Never will the Messiah disdain to be a servant to Ali."
