He calls the people to Bahmaniyya1. The people will be confounded by him and turn back on their heels saying: "We were waiting for one who would call us to the religion of Sincerity, but there has appeared to us one who calls us to the religion of the Magians." For this reason the Almighty said: {to a repulsive thing}2. Then Lord Muhammad appears, calling the people to his recognition and affirmation. While the people are in confusion from the difference between the two meanings and the two manifestations—the Bahmaniyya and the Muhammadan—at that moment our Master the Prince of Bees, the worshipped Meaning—exalted are His favors—manifests to them from the eye of the Sun, with Dhu al-Fiqar in His hand. The people will fix their gaze and say to Lord Muhammad: "Who is this?" The Mim will say to them: "This is your Master, the High, the Great." They will then fall upon their faces and the Sword will take them. Then there shall befall them varieties of punishment—killing and burning. At that moment, no faith shall benefit a soul that had not believed before or earned through its faith any good. The clarification of this is the words of the Almighty: {And intercession does not benefit with Him except for one whom He permits. [And they will wait] until, when terror is removed from their hearts, they will say [to one another], "What has your Lord said?" They will say, "The Truth." And He is the High, the Great}3.
(549) From Ja’far ibn Muhammad ibn al-Mufaddal, from Abu al-Saqr, from al-Mufaddal ibn Umar—peace be upon him—that he said: "Surah {Say, 'He is God, [who is] One'}4 does not mean 'Fatir'; rather, its meaning is that God is One, the Prince of Bees. Nothing was with Him—no Name, no Gate, no Throne, no Chair, no heaven, and no earth. {God, the Eternal Refuge}5, He who has no void [hollow/interior], and the servants turn to Him with their aspirations and wills; then He invented the Single Name, which is the Mim [Muhammad].
