Their "wealth" is knowledge. He said: {And do not consume it extravagantly and hastily, lest they grow up}, which means: do not withhold it from them.

And the word of the Mighty and Majestic: {Indeed, those who consume the wealth of orphans unjustly are only consuming fire into their bellies and will be burned in a Blaze} (Al-Nisa: 10). The "wealth of orphans" is the inward knowledge. For the "orphan" is he whose Master—who established him in knowledge—is gone, leaving him an orphan who finds no one to find solace with. If the scholar recognizes him, it is his duty to give him knowledge, for it belongs to him; he must not withhold it from him, for if he does, he is a sinner. And after how much time and effort does this inverted world and its affairs recognize its maturity? He [the Prophet/Imam] said: "Do not withhold wisdom from its people, for you would wrong them; and do not give it to those who are not its people, for you would wrong it."

We have offered our knowledge, which Allah taught us and brought us to by His grace, just as He commanded us. Therefore, it is the duty of the one who acquires it, seeks it, and desires it to accept it, submit to it, and act upon it. Acceptance is not complete except through the work mandated by it, the practice of its jurisprudence, and diligence in ridding oneself of one's burdens. He [Allah] urged toward work, commanded it, and promised reward for it, saying: {And say, "Do," for Allah will see your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do} (Al-Tawbah: 105).

And the Mighty and Majestic said: {So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer—no denial will there be for his effort, and indeed, We are recording it for him} (Al-Anbiya: 94). And the Mighty and Majestic said: {So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it} (Al-Zalzalah: 7-8). And the Mighty and Majestic said: {And whatever good you do—indeed, Allah is Knowing of it} (Al-Baqarah: 215).
