Our sheikh Abu Abd Allah—may God sanctify his soul—was asked about them and said: "They are transferred through all kinds of slaughtered and metamorphosed beings until the Day of Disclosure. There shall befall them what is inscribed regarding their return to humanity and their killing, slaughtering, and burning—a thousand killings, a thousand slaughterings, and a thousand burnings, successive and joined. Then to the Creator—exalted be His mention—belongs the Inception and the Will regarding them. The first they are transferred to from humanity, if the Creator—Majestic is His power—wills to cause their two personages to vanish, He transfers them into two donkeys with two vulvas, a male and a female. This one mounts that one, then in the very same frame, the male becomes female and the female becomes male, and this one mounts that one and that one mounts this one."

(507) From my sheikh—may God brighten his face—who said: I was present in Harran at the house of Abu al-Qasim Harun al-Harrani al-Qattan, who is one of the sons of our sheikh al-Husayn ibn Hamdan al-Khasibi—may God sanctify their souls. There was present with us a man from the sheikhs of the Ishaqiyya known as al-Miqdadi. I asked him about Sufakhl [Aisha], what was the first she was transferred to from humanity? He replied: "My hearing from my sheikhs from the Master—exalted be his glory—is that the first Sufakhl was transferred to was a jenny (himara); for that reason Lord Muhammad—exalted be his glory—named her [al-Humayra]." I laughed when I heard this statement from him. He asked: "What makes you laugh?" I said: "Praise be to God who made you speak the Truth." He said: "I adjure you to tell me what is in your soul." I said to him: "O you, your companion was only named Ishaq al-Ahmar because he was 'reddened' [blocked] from the recognition of God the Almighty and did not carry it, and he is Umar ibn al-Khattab. For Umar did not carry the recognition, but broadcast it and disbelieved in it. al-Humayra is one of his personages, and you say she was transferred from the shirt of humanity to a donkey, and for that reason she was named al-Humayra."
