He approached and entered while the assembly was crowded and packed with his Shia and followers. He began stepping over the people until he sat by the side of the prayer-mat on which the Imam was sitting. He offered peace to our Master and congratulated him on his arrival and the safety God granted him from the tyrant. The Imam returned the greeting. The lined garment was upon him, covered by another robe. Wahb ibn Suleiman began casting his gaze at his clothes. The Imam knew what was in his soul, so he called the servant and said: "Come and take this robe from me, for Wahb ibn Suleiman has called for it."
The servant came and took the robe from over the lined garment. When he removed it, the lined garment appeared. Wahb observed it and found it as described, except that the lining could not be seen as the outside was seen. The Imam called the servant and said: "Take the lined garment and bring me another." When the servant took it, Wahb ibn Suleiman said: "Give it here." The servant handed it to him. He turned it over in the presence of those in the assembly, flipping the lining once and the outside another until he had seen enough. He handed it back to the servant and said: "You spoke the truth, my lord; I have found what You described exactly as You mentioned it." The Imam said to him: "And likewise, I knew from you what you kept secret, so I displayed it until you witnessed it."
After that, there were stories concerning Muhammad ibn Abi Zaynab which he displayed and manifested by the command of his Master alongside Isa ibn Musa al-Hashimi. Then his Master said to him: "Produce the appearance that you are defeated and killed, as was your state in the past when you said: {My Lord, indeed I am overcome, so help!}. So We opened the gates of heaven with pouring water and caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined."
