Abu Dharr said to him: 'O my lord, to you belongs the favor of that and the merit in it.' al-Miqdad saw him, for Salman had settled him in a great position and displayed him until he spoke with his [Salman's] speech upon his tongue. al-Miqdad displayed that to the Greatest Lord Muhammad—exalted be his glory—who said then: 'The green [heaven] has not shaded nor has the dusty [earth] carried one with a more eloquent speech than Abu Dharr.' He deserved this description from Lord Muhammad because of the correctness of that speech and the tongues he spoke eloquently in all those higher and lower stations, as none of the people of his rank had reached them, nor spoken with them as he spoke, nor described the explanation of what he explained, nor witnessed this status except for him among the people of the ranks and degrees. It was a status specialized for him by the will of the Master and His ordainment for him. This, O Muhammad ibn Jundub, was the specialization of Salman for Abu Dharr, his honoring, and his ordering, just as the ranks were ordered from the Meaning to the Name, thus specializing the people of the ranks with them."

(442) Abu Ali Muhammad ibn Attab al-Basri related, saying: Ahmad ibn Ghiyath narrated to me, saying: My lord Abu Shu’ayb Muhammad ibn Nusayr — peace be upon him — narrated to me, saying: "O Muhammad ibn Jundub, Abu al-Khattab Muhammad ibn Abi Zaynab al-Kahili was in the station of the Mim, as the Greatest Muhammad had appeared through him; and the Pre-eternal Goal appeared through the Jim, which is Lord Ja'far — exalted be his glory. He commanded him to manifest the Call and the Disclosure, saying: 'O Abu al-Khattab Muhammad ibn Abi Zaynab al-Kahili!' He replied: 'At Your service.' He said: 'Rise, O Muhammad, on this day and announce what you have been commanded; do not hide or conceal any of it, for I am with you wherever you are. And here is Abu Dharr the Truthful, who shall attest to your word and display your warning to the people of God's choice and His beloveds. Rise, O My servant!'" So Abu Muhammad Sufyan ibn Mus'ab al-Abdi rose until he placed his hand in the hand of Ismail ibn Abi al-Tayyib, and they both stood before Muhammad ibn Abi Zaynab.
