(430) It has been related regarding the words of the Almighty: {The Hour has come near, and the moon has split. And if they see a sign, they turn away and say, "Ongoing sorcery." And they denied and followed their desires—and every matter is settled. And there has already come to them of information that which contains a deterrent—extensive wisdom—but warners do not avail. So leave them. The Day the Caller calls to a repulsive thing}1. He said: the manifestation of the Gate in the Muhammadan Cycle through two persons, Salman and Safina, as a Deal.
(431) The Scholar—exalted be his glory—was asked regarding the words of God the Almighty: {Say, "In the favor of God and in His mercy—in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate."}2. He replied—exalted be his glory: "The Favor is Muhammad and the Mercy is Salman."
(432) Likewise His word—the Mighty and Sublime: {And if not for the favor of God upon you and His mercy, not one of you would [ever] have been pure; but God purifies whom He wills, and God is Hearing and Knowing}3. He said: "They are the Name and the Gate."
And His word: {So which of the favors of your Lord will you two deny? ❁ He created man from clay like [that of] pottery. ❁ And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. ❁ So which of the favors of your Lord will you two deny? ❁ [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. ❁ So which of the favors of your Lord will you two deny? ❁ He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]; ❁ Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses. ❁ So which of the favors of your Lord will you two deny? ❁ From both of them emerge pearl and coral. ❁ So which of the favors of your Lord will you two deny? ❁
