Since it is as such, then this Reason—which we have affirmed, recognized, and clarified as being the Name of the God we worship—is that which awakened us to its knowledge, so we established it. it alerted us to the knowledge of what we have explained and become familiar with. It is that which guided you to what you have learned and explained in your discourse, and urged you to seek what you requested and mentioned in your book. However, since following the command in the Quran is an obligation that a person must uphold—as a balance and a clarification—it is as the Mighty and Majestic said: {And We have not revealed to you the Book except that you may make clear to them that wherein they have differed} (Al-Nahl: 64). And the saying of the Exalted, the Greatest of speakers: {Then proclaim what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists} (Al-Hijr: 94). And the saying of the Mighty and Majestic: {O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message} (Al-Ma'idah: 67). And the saying of Him whose Name is Blessed: {This [Quran] is a notification for the people that they may be warned thereby and that they may know that He is but one God and that those of understanding may take heed} (Ibrahim: 52).
And the saying of the Mighty and Majestic: {And [mention, O Muhammad], when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, [saying], "You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased} (Al-Imran: 187). And the saying of the Mighty and Majestic: {And whoever is stingy is only stingy toward himself} (Muhammad: 38). And the saying of the Mighty and Majestic: {But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]} (Al-Duha: 11).
