(400) And his saying—exalted be his glory: "Bravo, bravo to you O Salman! You have known the first and the last knowledge, and you are a sea that never runs dry."

(401) And his saying—exalted be his glory: "He intermingled with the Truth and the Truth intermingled with him; thus he never transforms."

(402) And his saying—exalted be his glory: "Salman holds a status toward God that neither a near-standing angel nor a sent prophet can reach."

(403) And he said—exalted be his glory: "God surely becomes angry for the anger of Salman."

(404) And he said—exalted be his glory: "Were it not for Salman, the Persians would not have been noble."

(405) And he said—exalted be his glory: "I am the Master of the Arabs, and Salman is the Master of the Persians."

(406) And he said—exalted be his glory: "Salman witnessed the disciples and supporters of Jesus—exalted be his glory; he recited the former books and traversed the world. Even if I told you that he traveled where Dhu al-Qarnayn traveled, passed through the darknesses, stood before Gog and Magog, and reached the rising and setting points of the sun and pierced through them, I would be speaking the truth. He was granted the lifespans of many centuries, all while seeking my mission." This is from his textual designation and indication of him.

(407) It is related from Ishaq ibn Ammar from our Master al-Sadiq—exalted be his glory—that he said: "God the Mighty and Sublime disciplined His Prophet according to His will, so He—exalted be His mention—said to him: {And indeed, you are of a great moral character}1.
