She had an orchard (ha'it) and said to me: 'This orchard is yours; eat from it what you wish and give in charity what you wish.' I remained in that orchard for as long as God willed. While I was in the orchard one day, seven people approached me, with a white cloud shading them from the sun.
I said to myself: 'By God, all these are not prophets, but among them is a prophet.' They approached until they entered, and the cloud moved with them wherever they went. When they entered the orchard, among them were the Messenger of God—exalted be his glory—Amir Almuminin, Abu Dharr, al-Miqdad, Aqeel ibn Abi Talib, Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib, and Zayd ibn Haritha. They began to eat the dried dates (hashaf) from the palms. The Messenger of God said: 'Eat the dried dates and do not ruin anything for the folk.' I went in to my mistress and said: 'Grant me a tray of these fresh dates.'
She said: 'You may have six trays of whatever you wish; do as you please.' I carried a tray and said to myself: 'If he is a prophet, he will not eat charity but will accept a gift.' I said to him: 'This is charity.' The Messenger of God—exalted be his glory—said: 'Eat,' but he, Amir Almuminin, Aqeel, and Hamza refrained. They said to Zayd ibn Haritha: 'Stretch out your hand and eat.' So he and the rest ate.
I said: 'By God, this is a sign.' Then I brought him another tray and said: 'This is a gift.' He stretched out his hand and said: 'In the name of God, eat,' and he ate with them. I said: 'This is another sign.' While I was circling behind him, he turned toward me and said: 'O Rozaba, do you seek the Seal of Prophecy?' I said: 'Yes.' He—exalted be his glory—uncovered his shoulder, and there was the Seal of Prophecy stamped between his shoulders with three hairs. I fell upon the feet of the Messenger of God, kissing them.
