This section contains the meaning of the manifestations of the most Luminous and Majestic Gate — peace and preference be upon him — and the explanation of that from the beginning of human existence to the occultation of our Lord the Awaited Vengeur (al-Qa’im al-Muntazar), who is manifest to the people of reason, vision, and glory.
By the success of God and His great favor, we have explained the path that leads to the knowledge of our Master, Amir Almuminin, the High, the Great — may His favors be exalted and His names sanctified. We have clarified what we were capable of and what our understanding reached regarding the obligatory laws and the four verified proofs that are never contradicted. These proofs agree with one another to the extent of our capacity, without claiming exhaustiveness; rather, it is a part of a whole, sufficient for the people of reason, essence, heart, and insight.
From God we seek aid in what we intend and guidance in what we present. He is the Pre-eternal, the Ancient, the High, the Great, the Unique Adored One, the Manifest Existing One. The noble Muhammad is His great Messenger to the nations with accomplished signs and wisdom. We have demonstrated that he is the intended House, the worshiper and not the Adored; we have explained, proven, and clarified that.
It is now incumbent upon us to explain a part of what has reached us regarding the knowledge of the Gate established for this noble and sought House, and what God, the High, the Great, the Giver, has specialized him with and revealed in the precise Book. This is our treasure for the day of return, according to His word: {Or do they possess the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Let them then ascend by the Means!}1. This is an awakening for us to be guided to the path of correctness and to realize what is commanded by the most eloquent speech: a clear definition for recognizing the Gates, for through their knowledge is the escape from punishment.
