{He will surely gather them all to Him} on the Day of Disclosure. This is the day He returns them from the molds they currently occupy to their human forms; He shall kill them a thousand deaths, slaughter them a thousand times, and burn them a thousand burnings in succession and retribution. Regarding this, God the Blessed and Almighty says: {Muhammad is not the father of any one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of God and the Seal of the prophets. And God is All-Knowing of all things.}1 That is: He is God who produced you and manifested you from non-existence into existence, and He is the Unique (al-Wahid), while the Meaning is the One (al-Ahad).

(342) Our Master al-Sadiq—exalted be his glory—said: "The One Meaning invented a Unique one and made him the root of number. He is the Throne that enthroned knowledge in the hearts of the believers, and he is the warning Soul of which God the Almighty said: {And God warns you of Himself}.2"

The saying of the Name and his address to his Creator in the Messianic manifestation: {And when God said, "O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as two deities besides God'?" He said, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within my soul, and I do not know what is within Your soul. Indeed, it is You who are Knower of the unseen."}3

Its meaning is: "You know what is in my soul since I am Your soul and You produced me and originated me; but I do not know what is in Your soul"—meaning: I do not know what You possess in me regarding what is hidden of Your occultation and the concealed part of Your secret, O Eye of Time and Cause of Place. Likewise, he used to swear in the Muhammadan manifestation by saying: "By the One in whose hand is my soul."
