Abu Shu’ayb—peace be upon him—said: "The two terms are the Lord Salman and the Lord Muhammad—peace be upon them both. It is mandatory to first recognize the Lord Salman, then through Salman recognize the Lord Muhammad—exalted be his glory—so that one may enter through the Gate, as the Sublime commanded in His Book: {They ask you concerning the new moons. Say: 'They are measurements of time for the people and for Hajj.' And it is not righteousness to enter houses from their backs, but righteousness is [in] him who fears God. And enter houses through their doors. And fear God that you may succeed.}1 When he completes these two terms, then {there is no injustice}: meaning there is nothing above them except the Creator, who is the Goal. The meaning of {no injustice} is that Muhammad is not the Goal, which is the Meaning—Exalted. Regarding this the Sublime said: {that those who perished might perish upon a clear proof and those who lived might live upon a clear proof. And indeed, God is Hearing and Knowing}2. And in the words of the Mighty and Sublime: {And God warns you of Himself, and God is Kind to [His] servants}3. The warning Soul is Muhammad—exalted be his glory—because he is the location of the description and the attribute, and he has a Master who is the Goal. Thus He said: {And God warns you of Himself} lest you make Him a creature subject to that which mortals are subject to."
(306) This is supported by what was related from the Lord Mim—exalted be his glory—who said outwardly: "The first to pray over me is my Lord and His angels." The first to pray over him was our Master Amir Almuminin—exalted be his glory—along with Salman—peace be upon him—al-Miqdad, and Abu Dharr—peace be upon them. They are the masters of the knowledge of the Kingdom, as the Almighty said: {Indeed, God and His angels pray upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, pray upon him and ask [God to confer] peace upon him}4.
