I am the Companion of the Quran and the mine of the Criterion (al-Furqan), the nullifier of idols and the destroyer of the party of Satan. I am the inheritor of the knowledge of the Prophets; I am the Master of the Successors. I am the Witness of the Abode of Finitude; I am the Intercessor of the Abode of Permanence. I am the director of the days, the Creator of mankind, and the conductor of the decrees. I am the one who causes light to enter the darkness. I am the Light of Lights, the distributor of Paradise and the Fire, the annihilator of the wicked and the destroyer of the disbelievers.

I am the ravager of dwellings, the counter of the number of raindrops, the measurer of the seas, the Knower of the count of the sands, the producer of fruits and the splitter of rivers. I am the Knower of the positions of the birds' wings, the conductor of the rotating celestial sphere; and everything with me is according to a measure. I am the Master of its measures, weights, colors, spirits, and pairs. I am their Fashioner and the one responsible for the sustenance of all that crawls and walks, and for every being in motion or rest. I am the classifier of sorts, the manifester of signs at the Tuff (Karbala), the striker of nations with earthquakes and eclipses, and the conductor of the eclipsed moon.

I am the Master of the Covenant and the Testament. I am the Master of the Day of Meeting, the day when the shin shall be uncovered. I am the taker of souls when they reach the throat. I am the one through whose tongue the Truthful One (Muhammad) spoke, and at whose speech the speaker fell silent. I am the opener of openings and the mender of rifts. I am the Master of the twilight and the night and what it envelops, and the moon when it becomes full. I am the companion of the Prophets and the sender of the Messengers. I am the Master of Madyan and the Day of the Shadow. I am the destroyer of 'Ad and Thamud. I am the Master of the Fire of the Pit (al-Ukhdud). I am the Witness and the Witnessed. I am the Master of the Path and the Watchtower. I am the one standing upon the Elevations (al-A'raf), and the one who takes with justice.
