The Remembrance (Dhikr) of Allah is: Facing Him (Muwajaha) from every direction by cutting off from the sensory world.

And that is because Man possesses a posture and configuration surrounded by six directions. So if he looks at an Abstract Intelligible (Ma'qul Mujarrad) and is stripped of density from all his directions, he can perceive the Abstract Lights. At that point, he sees the Deity encompassing the whole.

As for Prayer (Salah): It is the Intellectual and Spiritual Connection (Ittisal) to the One whose permanent emanation is connected to everything according to the measure of merit.

And whenever Man has corresponded with Existence in his essence\ and in his form, he was among the Praying Ones (Musallin), connected by the Facing (Muwajaha), cut off from the darknesses and the Isthmuses of Arrival (Al-Barazikh al-Wardiyyat).

As for Zakah (Purification): If a soul purifies itself, it connects to the [Celestial] Souls and Intellects, and derives from them the gleaming Lights and the realities of Secrets.

And it came in His saying, the Almighty:

{He has succeeded who purifies it.}1

Meaning: He connected it and joined it to the Intellect, so he returned it to its Origin.
