And it is not possible for the Believer to become a Unitarian (Muwahhid), Knowing Believer in Allah, unless he develops the faculty (Malaka) of turning away from the dark, murky world and connecting with the Abstract Lights. At that point, the Divine Realities breathe within his soul.

Allah the Almighty said:

{So turn in repentance to your Creator and kill yourselves.}1

He intended the cutting off of souls from bodily attachments and their connection to the Supreme World, which is the Rank of True Life, Permanent Survival, and Immortality in Eternal Bliss.

And because the Heavens are the Abode of Prophets, the Seat of Saints (Awliya), and the Home of the Felicitous, the People of Tawhid named them: Cities, Domes, and Gardens.

And they named their lights: Springs, Waters, Rivers, Mosques, Ritual Sites (Masha'ir), Gates, Orphans (Aytam), Paths, and Guides... and much of what the Masters (Exalted be Their Might) indicated by allusion (Talwih) and explicit statement (Tasrih).

So let not the reader interpret this speech of mine regarding Lights and Abstracts based on the deficiency of his own knowledge and the shortness of his understanding.
