Then he ascends from that rank, stripping it of forms and materials, and says: (Allahu Akbar) "Allah is Greater," than to fall under illusion (Wahm), the faculties of the soul, and sensory perceptions.
Then he ascends from that rank to the Rank of the Intellect and the Abstract Souls, and says: "Allah is Greater," than to have a likeness or a resemblance, or for anything to encompass Him; rather, He is encompassing of all things.
At that point, he arrives at the High Divine Rank, the Holy Presence, and the Omnipotent Majesty. Thus, his Call (Da'wa) becomes valid at the end of his rank. So he calls to the Prayer with the Reality of Connection, the knowledge of the answering of the supplication, and the return (Tathwib) in the Takbir.
It is narrated from Al-Sadiq regarding his saying:
Allah is Greater (Allahu Akbar) than what is conceived in the consciences of intellects and thoughts. Allah is Greater than the termination of the subtleties of secrets1.
