It is His Attribute which is not limited 1, His Light which is not conquered 2, His Proof which is not severed 3, His Clear Argument, and His Guiding Indicator. The Witness over every soul regarding what it has earned 4. The Manifest by Light, the Supporter by Embodiment (Tajanni). The Matter of Life, the Spring of Lights, the Originator of Faculties, the Inventor of Essences, the Emanator of Forms and Attributes, the Enfolder of Eras (Mukawwir al-Akwar), and the Eon-Maker of Eons and Ages.
He is the Spreader of Spirits, the Creator of Figures (Ashbah), the Cleaver of Daybreak, and the Subjugator of Winds. [He is] the Face of Allah the Mighty, His Protective Sanctuary (Janabuhu al-Hariz), His Light which is not extinguished, and His Power which has no limit.
[He is] Allah’s Holy Pavilion (Suradiq)5and His Shadowy Figure (Shabahuhu al-Zilli)6. [He is] His Secret in His creation, His Gift to the people of His elite, the sincere ones of His presence, and the chosen ones of His creation—those to whom He appeared, and from whom He removed envy, hatred, and the plots of Satan. He made them the Treasurers of His Knowledge, the Trustees of His Revelation, and the Interpreters (Tarajim) of His Secret.
