And His vision does not differ for the one who knows Him by sight, nor is His knowledge absent from the one who verified Him by the intellect1.

He appeared to the Whole in a single manifestation, in a single epoch, a single time, and a single moment. Nothing conceals Him from anything, and nothing veils Him from anything2.

Footnotes

1He shifts to rebuking the one who acknowledges the Human Manifestation without the Luminous Manifestation. He argues against the one who says: "I did not know the Form except as the Commander of the Faithful."How can the speaker say regarding the Commander of the Faithful that "The Visible Form is his form," when he did not live in his time nor witness the Commander of the Faithful in the Visible Form (The Human Manifestation)? Our saying "Visible" (Mar'iyya): Means that we see it permanently. If the matter were limited to the Human Manifestation, we would say: "The Form that you saw" (Ra'ayta). It would not be correct to say "The Visible Form" [implying continuity].He invited him to look into the Heaven to know the Fixed Visible Form in existence and vision, which is the Luminous Form. Our Master the Commander of the Faithful (Peace be upon him) said upon the Pulpit of His Greatness to the elite and the commoners:"I am the Moon of the Eclipse. I am the Crescent of China. I am the Zabarqan (Glittering Star/Moon) of the planets. I am the Samandal (Phoenix) of the Angels. I am the Night-Visitor (Tariq) of the Zodiacs..."Therefore: The Luminous Form is the Human Form in Reality and Substance.Indeed, He (The Almighty) encompasses all existents by His Power and Authority. He is not in things by spatial penetration (Walij), nor is He outside of them in Knowledge, Will, Ability, and Volition.Exalted is He above being contained by time or restricted by place. For He (The Almighty) is Manifest in the Whole (by Light, Radiance, and Shadow) and encompasses them as well.He is in the World of the Abstract Intellect and the World of the Unseen which is absent from sensory and intellectual perceptions; and He is Manifest in the World of the Witnessed in the Form Visible to the eye for the People of Light and Humans. He (The Almighty) is not afflicted by change, alteration, or transformation from state to state, even if the turning of hearts and eyes perceives that."He is not absent from the one who knows Him": By Presential Knowledge (Ma'rifa Huduriyya) and Acquired Knowledge (Husuliyya). He is the Manifest who has never been absent from the Knowledgeable, Aware Gnostic."Nor does the one who unifies Him deny Him": Meaning, he does not disbelieve in Him or deny Him, who knows that the Human Manifestation and the Luminous Manifestation are One, indivisible."His vision does not differ for the one who knows Him by sight": Meaning, the Gnostic who acknowledges the Theophany (Tajalli) sees Him as a Lord in all states."Nor is His knowledge absent from the one who verified Him by the intellect": Meaning, it is established for him that He is the Worshipped Meaning.
2"The Single Manifestation in a Single Time": This occurred on the First Day of Particles (Yawm al-Dharr) when He manifested to all the spirits and said to them: "Am I not your Lord?" They said: "Yes."
