And if Existence is stripped [of physical constraints], it becomes a Single Intelligible1. And the Rank of the Gate realizes that it is connected to the Supreme Veil, which is the Veil of Allah in Reality, not in Metaphor.

And if you say: "O Eternal, You cease not (Ya Azali Lam Tazal)2, the indication only falls upon the outward of the "Meem" towards Him is the Submission. And the Outward of the "Meem" is the Gate (Al-Bab), because the Abstracts (Mujarradat), the Intelligibles (Ma'qulat), and the Souls are Eternalities (Azaliyyat) and Permanent things; change, corruption, and decay do not overtake them.

At that point, the Form cannot be indicated except by the Abstract Intelligible, which cannot perish. The Single Form, which Perfection necessarily accompanies, is the Permanent, Fixed, and Eternal one.

Footnotes

1If the sensory multiplicity located in the eye is stripped from the Luminous Existence, the Light, the Radiance, and the Shadow become a Single Intelligible Reality and Essence after the abstraction (Tajrid). The Rank of the Gate realizes intellectually that the Central Rank of Radiance is connected to the Supreme Veil (which is the Abstract Light, the Cloak of Grandeur, and the Greatest Name of Allah before the Bestowal...).The Reality is a fixed matter that does not accept change. What we indicated is the True Supreme Veil; as for the Master "Meem" and others, they are Metaphorical Veils.
2The Abstracts, Intelligibles, and Souls are in Eternal Luminous Veils not subject to transformation, corruption, or decay, because they are Substances (Jawahir). Through them, the Visible Form is indicated by means of the Intellect and the Soul. Gnosis is not complete without reaching that station. This is the summary of the saying "O Eternal, You cease not": The One adorned with Light and Radiance is the Meaning (Al-Ma'na). However, due to the obligation of Transcendence (Tanzih), the Name and the Attribute fall upon the "Meem" and the "Seen."
