So, if you realize your objective1 from this [Visible] Form2, and you proceed to the knowledge of the Abstracts (Mujarradat) and the Intelligibles (Ma'qulat), you will know that which guides you to your quest regarding the knowledge of the Emanating Form (Al-Surah al-Mufad) 3, from which all forms emanate.

1By your knowing the Present Form which is distinct in its Substance (Jawhar) from all [other] forms—meaning the Visible Form whose Reality and Hidden Substance is the Light of Lights—you will have confirmed and accomplished your goal regarding the Visible Form. You will have flown with the wing of the Intellect toward the Absolute, Original, Unitary, Abstract Light from which all forms emanated. This is what the People of Tawhid call the "Form of Subjugation" (Surat al-Qahr), the "Overwhelming Ennoblement," or the "Anza'iyya Form" (Al-Surah al-Anza'iyya).
2The Knower (Exalted be His Might) said: "By the 'Veil,' He meant the phantoms/figures (Ashbah) which He created for Himself. And 'Himself' is the Greater Meaning (Al-Ma'na al-Akbar). He made them from the Shadows, and they are these human bodies through which He appears to His creation, speaking to them and addressing them from them. This is the Shadowy Veil by which He veils Himself to speak to humans from behind the veil. However, He speaks to the Luminous Beings (Nuraniyyin) from behind the Veil of Light, which is the Luminous Soul (Al-Nafs al-Nuraniyya)—His Greatest Veil."
3By the Emanation (Fayd) of the existence of the Necessary Being, every existent exists through Grace and Generosity. There is no multiplicity in the Essence, even if the multiplicity of Names and Attributes appears to us... The Visible Form (The Form of Grace/Subtlety - Lutf) is not other than the Anza'iyya Form (The Form of Subjugation/Dominion - Qahr); Light upon Light. The segmentation applies to the expressions, not to the Essence.
