Likewise, He alerted you by His saying:

"O All (Ya Kull), O Eternal (Ya Azal), You have never ceased."

And by His saying:

{And there shined forth from Him, that which sets within Him }1.

It was only witnessed as a Present Form2 for all existents, unique in Great Power and Grandeur, distinct from all [other] forms. Its Essence is a Luminous, Unitary (Ahadiyyah), Eternal (Abadiyyah), Everlasting (Sarmadiyyah), Holy (Qudsiyyah), and Omnipotent (Jabrutiyyah) Essence; no beginning is known for it, nor does an end encompass it.

The Almighty said: {There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting}3.

Footnotes

1"And there shined forth from Him, that which sets within Him": The Light of the Essence is the Essence. The Light of the Essence is the Visible Form. It is the Form present to all existents in Knowledge, Power, Will, and Volition, not in Essence (i.e., not in physical shape and figure).
2Had Existence and Vision not occurred: Creation would have been equal in the lack of vision, and each of them would have imagined a god different from the god of the other. Thus, there would be no proof for one over the other. And what reward is there for one who worships an absent Lord or an imagined one?
3Surah Maryam, Verse 93. Our Master al-Sadiq (Exalted be His Might) said regarding His saying "There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant":"Everyone in the heavens and the earth comes to the Prince of the Bees (Amir al-Nahl — i.e., Ali), Exalted be His Might, as a servant."
